The tapes work together
with a workbook. There are five sections:
Part One: Physical Warm Ups
This is the physical warm-up section. Follow
along on the tape and see photographs of each exercise in the
book. These are for relaxation, deep breathing and de-stressing.
Part Two: Vocal Exercises
You can follow along on the tape and see the
detailed instruction in the book. Samples of the exercises are
written in musical notation so you can see how what1s on the
page relates to what you hear on the tape.
Vocal Exercises - Short Form
The short form of the vocal exercises can be used once you are
familiar with the exercises on Tape One Side B. The tape includes
a sample of the exercise and the piano accompaniment for you
to sing along with.
Part Three: Ear Training, Interval Training and Work Out Section
Tape Two Side B. This section can be used after
you warm up or whenever you want to practice these techniques.
These exercises can help improve your harmony ear, speed up
your sight singing or just help you find your note more easily.
Part Four: Group Singing Games
Harmony, rhythm, rhyme, and improvisational games
for group workshops to improve your harmony ear, and your ability
to improvise vocally as well as experience the joy of singing.
Part Five: Questions and Answers
Includes the most commonly asked questions. It
is in the book and not on the tapes.
