Message From The President…
I was sent a wonderful video on youtube the other day about ‘appreciation’. It’s not a new concept and so often, we are told; ‘to smell the roses’, ‘to take each day, one day at time’, ‘that the journey is more rewarding than the destination’ and so on. All true, but no matter how important these messages are, they often get lost or forgotten because we hear them all the time. Sometimes it really takes a bolt of lightning, or a profound experience to wake us up.
Don’t get me wrong. I’m incredibly grateful for everything. For my friends, an amazing family and to be in the business that I always wanted to be in, surrounded by the most talented, creative (and colourful) musicians, and artists, but admittedly sometimes I too just forget to take a moment out to reflect on it and to appreciate it every day…
“Today is not just another day, -it’s unique and it’s a gift”. This is a quote from the video I would like to share with all of you – not just because of the beautiful music and exquisite images, but by the message delivered, which is inspiring and uplifting. Beautifully narrated it will make you think twice about how you spend each day and this message is so eloquently given that I had to pass it on.
Best Wishes to all of you for a happy, healthy and prosperous new year!
